WHAT IS FANTASIA...?
FANTASIA is a series of shows that features the world’s best classical music with a twist of contemporary art vibe including dancing, lighting, and/or an unconventional location. Each season we invite different, mostly Malaysian artists. Besides offering a unique performance, FANTASIA is also a black tie event. And we are quite serious about the fashion part! We want to give this opportunity to everyone to dress-up, walk the red carpet, feel special and be seen.
Fantasia, an aesthetic experience of classical music
in an unconventional setting with black tie flare
26-27-28 October 2022
Join us for the second installment of FANTASIA
This time around FANTASIA II will entertain guests with classic opera pieces along with some unconventional pop twists accompanied by amazing dancers. The evening will be conducted by Juan Montoya, and will feature pianist Bernard Tan, cellist Stephen Johnson, soprano Jane Song, tenor Yap Jin Hin, modern singer Eryn Gani, videographer Arnaud Blondel, dancers Yacine and QQ and is produced by Negar Sajadifar.
The evening will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a cash bar and free flowing G&Ts, a red carpet for our guests to walk and be interviewed by our own “fashion police” and paparazzi. The performance starts at 9 p.m. and the entire evening with be full of melodramatics, an abundance of staginess, additional dramatics, and lots of drama happening.
See you all glammed up on the red carpet!
FANTASIA II is sponsored by Graceful Piano, Karls Group, Bombay Sapphire and ROKU Gin.
FANTASIA II is under the patronage of
the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur
A space for artists, visionaries and creative types to bring fresh ideas in art, music, fashion and performance to Kuala Lumpur.
NegArt is a venue for new and emerging artists to be supported and discovered and for establish artists to reconnect and to continue the dialogue with their Kuala Lumpur audience.
Why I Started NegArt?
As a young artist I was constantly looking for the opportunity to break into the art scene and have the support to show my paintings and photographs. I know how life-changing it is for an artist to be given the opportunity to exhibit their work in an inspiring location and to be supported with marketing experience. I want NegArt Gallery to help foster the creativity that I know is in Kuala Lumpur by giving it a voice, platform and audience. I also want to support established artists and give them a proper venue to speak to their followers and continue to inspire the city’s vibrant art and music scene.
